Skin Resurfacing Surgery

Beautiful skin speaks thousand words. Skin resurfacing cosmetic surgery by ablative and non-ablative laser procedures plays a major role in rejuvenating the dull/damaged skin. It heals / reduces / removes scars, blemishes, tattoos and enhances the damaged and/or aged skin.
Laser Skin Resurfacing
Laser skin resurfacing is done by laser that emits short, intense pulses of light. The skin is removed layer by layer thus lessening the likelihood of the lightening of the skin. Laser skin resurfacing is also known as a laser peel, laser vaporization or lasabrasion. It is a very effective plastic surgery to remove acne, scar, wrinkles and other facial imperfections.
Ablative Laser Surgery
LCO2 and erbium are the most popular ablative laser skin resurfacing procedure. Ablative Laser resurfacing works in the basic principles of laser. It works by vaporizing the top layer of the skin to remove blemishes, scars and wrinkles.
Non-ablative Laser Surgery
There are 3 types of non ablative laser resurfacing procedures. Non ablative lasers that are capable of removing tissue beneath the first layer of skin (in the epidermis) are called non-ablative lasers. They are also called “wounding lasers” as they cause a more extensive and deeper “controlled injury” to the skin. These are helpful in correcting major skin damages.
